Don't know what model number the transfer case is. What I have noticed is that if I drain and refill the gearbox and transfer case, then check it after a few thousand kms, the oil level in the transfer case is low BUT the gearbox oil level is high.A H55F cruiser gearbox seems to bolt up to the Isuzu with a downey belhousing. As I was going through I was making notes in the book about small things. Stuff like where you can use a brass drift instead of a $1200 SST and to lightly coat parts ...It feels like 4.11 with the h55f first gear would be awesome for 2nd/4low gear downhill stuff off road based on how the 3.70's feel. I've got FJ62 4.11 chunks that I can put in before SAS. I've driven around in 4th and the truck seems very happy at 2600-2800 rpm cruise for about 70mph and torque seems more on demand.
