Since it's bugged in the TBC and WotLK clients, you need a CombatLogFix AddOn.I believe you can use omnicc (an external addon) to add durations to your icons. I believe you can configure omnicc to only show durations as well. Omnicc also apples the duration text to action bars and weak auras. Likely it interacts with other addons as well.
