Functioned OK, but accuracy off bench at 50 yards was not great, in 1.5 in area. At the high cost of .22 Mag ammo, I sold it and got a Marlin bolt action, shot much tighter groups. For a hunting gun for maybe fast moving game, would be a good gun.

The only time I had problems with extraction on my 922M, it was caused by the magazine. The front edge was too high and was knocking the spent case off of the bolt face when it tried to extract. I have just one factory mag for my 922M, so I'll use that as my go-by for cutting these.The 922M pretty much uses the same mags as other Marlin Magnums such as the 25MN. But Marlin used a 7 Round early on in the 922M but shortly after they came out they went to a five round. It was specifically marked 5 shot for the Rifle. The trigger/magazine well unit is a one piece plastic unit that is pretty complex.
