Dec 1, 2020 at 7:55 PM. My midwife missed my twins at 9.5 weeks... didn’t find out until 12 weeks. But I think she was just really really new and inexperienced. I think it is uncommon for them to be missed at 8 weeks. Congrats on the pregnancy either way!! Maybe drink extra water and eat extra protein just in case!Someone on my birth board just learned of a hidden twin at about 30 weeks after having had earlier ultrasounds--I can't remember how many.
