Aug 4, 2016 · Oscar is literally the worst health insurance company I've ever had. Not only did they not cover my claim for an emergency ambulance ride, they lied and said they were covering a portion of it. Not one but SIX DIFFERENT PEOPLE there lied to me on their chat stating they were going to pay some or all of this bill. Doctors definitely charge more than $65 for office visits without insurance coverage. More like $200-300 without any tests or any procedures. You do need insurance if you don’t want to go bankrupt if something unexpected happens. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.Oscar Health Insurance Co.
