Generally, if your FJ Cruiser has an automatic transmission, the transmission fluid is changed every 25,000 to 30,000 miles. If your car has a manual transmission, you should change the transmission fluid approximately every 60,000 miles.I bought my FJ used and seller didn’t have the guide. The guide mentioned above recommendeds transmission fluid change at 120K but only under special conditions and changing the diff oil only under special conditions at 15k. At this point I'm stuck. I know there's too much fluid in the transmission and I'm not sure what I should do next.Check that the fluid comes out of the overflow tube.
