Found a fix for my 09 traverse, the rubber cable sheathing between the door and body holds water when it rains, so cut a small low point drain in it, disconnect it and use a wire drying compound on the connector and inside the sheath. hope this works for someone else. Fan stays running for 2 min after shut off.
