You can get TC if you for example only bring a knife into the raid. This is one of the very first days it went live, made for a good chuckle. You need at least a rig + pistol if I'm not mistaken, to not get tagged and cursed, a backpack might be necessary too. A scav vest and a pistol is the minimum to avoid tagged and cursed. Nice, I’ll have to do that next time I run as PMC. For now tho it’s scav raids until I get a rig.

Basically, if you go into a raid with either just a melee weapon, or a pistol, the 2nd time you do it in a row (TO counteract it, just put on a rig or backpack, or take a primary weapon) Scavs will hunt you down and come for you. It does feel like tagged and curse or at least something to force you out of the raid. As someone who normally extracts at 1-2 minutes left nearly every raid i see this happen a lot, certainly around the 10-7 min mark. But on maps like Reserve and factory it has a MUCH HIGHER chance of happening. There's a few spawn locations for pods on each map. Each pod has certain pathing points to allow the SCAV to roam between. On "older" maps, this is more observable.
