The paper introduces and empirically examines a model of teacher caring. The model links teachers' internal resources with teacher caring, which is linked to teacher well-being. Teachers' sense of meaning at work and teachers' self-efficacy contributed to teacher caring.

Teachers that care. Parenthood is the state of being a parent, or one who is either a father or mother. A parent is responsible for the well being, education and care for a child while the child is a minor, or under the age of 18.

Self-care is defined as skills and strategies used to maintain personal, familial, emotional, and spiritual needs while attending to the needs and demands of others (Newell & MacNeil, 2016).
