I've rebuilt my share of (non-SV) engines and here's about what I see it costing.... Bore and hone +1 size = $80 per cylinder plus pistons, wrings, wrist pins and clips = ~$200. Cut valve seats and new valves & springs = ~$300. Gaskets = ~$200. Bottom end bearings with pressing them in = ~$400.
