This is great. I love both the Inglis and Serkis audiobooks, but having never read the Silmarillion, I tried it recently on audiobook with a different narrator and I gave up after about an hour. I don't know if it was the text, the narration or a combination, but it was just really dry and not at all engaging, like the novels are. Maybe you have never read it and the names are driving you crazy, or you have read it so many times ..., The Silmarillion. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Silmarillion audiobook? I tried Audible.com, but it says its not available. I'd prefer not to buy the CD set from Amazon. When I can't find a way to buy an audiobook (I live in Sweden) I go to theaudiobookbay.com and download it.
