New Micro Carry is Horrible! This is my first post as I am new to the Kimber family.. I fell in love with the Kimber 380. I was so excited to get it but experienced problems with jams as soon as it came. I read up on it, called Kimber, tried a ton of different ammo and put it many rounds into the hundreds through the firearm.Feb 18, 2023 · I am considering the purchase of a new Kimber Micro Eclipse 380. When I research the pistol I find lots of problems with FTF, FTE and other issues a few years ago 2016 and forward. Does anyone have an opinion on whether the issues have been addressed by Kimber or is this old news that no one is posting about? Nosediving. Have to drop the mag, clear the round, close the slide, insert the mag, and rerack to chamber correctly. I had FTE problems. That one I had to bend the extractor on it a little and that seems to fix most of the problems. I have found that in that gun it will FTE if I shoot 115 grain. But if I shoot 124 grain the gun will shoot great.
