It is unlikely that the new barrel will index correctly so you will need to remove material from the shoulder on the barrel and that will require resetting the barrel-cylinder gap and probably recutting the forcing cone. That revolver was as strong a handgun as you could ask for, functioned perfectly, was accurate, and just felt right in my hand. Rover is correct, the cylinder on the Six is slightly bigger, but still designated with the same holster size. I have a 4" 66-1 and a 4" Security Six and they both use the same holster, so I would guess if you find a k-frame holster with the same barrel length it should suffice.
