As the title suggests, I'm having a hard time finding a good place to, in lack of better words, farm roosevelt elks. Most videos and guides recommend locations in which there are no elks at anymore and can't find an updated guide or map. Many hint to hunt up at the top of Northern Ridge, but nowadays there are only female herds there (mostly).So i went to play on Layton Lakes and the whole map has reset. All i can see on the map are all the look out towers and two icons where i have placed hides. So i checked the game logs and it says that i have unlocked all the points of interest, hides and outposts. So i start heading towards an look out tower and suddenly i have a message …

This provides a description, mission objectives and how I w...Probably 7mm (I go with 338 because I don't bother with bear), 12 gauge, and .243. 12 gauge lets you take ducks and rabbits, as well as whitetail and bear with slugs. 243 is good for blacktail and coyote. 7mm will be good for bear, elk, and moose, but I refer 338 for the bigger species because I want to know they're dead when I hit them.
