Jan 29, 2021 · Really fast about why some players think that Nacogdoches was Fixed and isn't the Best saddle in red dead online anymore. Actually it's a bug that can happen...It's not just the saddle, it's the added stirrups that make the nacogdoches the top saddle. It basically gives you a -85% drain rate So you can pretty much ride forever without stamina depleting. There are quite a few YouTube videos out there on this exact subject that compare the saddles. The upland saddle is close I believe and there may be ...The nacog and hooded combo is better, the specials are better on their own as a saddle but you can’t put stirrups on them so you don’t get the buffs from those on top like the nacog. Only the Naco "special saddle" can also equip Hooded Stirrups." That is the only reason it is "the best."

FYI, I was curious about the mythical speed-boost of the Nacogdoches saddle so I did multiple time trials from Saint Denis train station to Annesburg station using the Naco saddle and the Upland saddle (which is 1 bar slower). Currently, I own the Nacogdoches Saddle, and I think it's really good. I can run my horse as hard as I want without ever really worrying about stamina. So all other saddles can reach up to -50% because of the stirrups, but the Nacogdoches can get up to -85%, which is basically infinite stamina at that point. And no, only the saddle itself and stirrups make any stat difference.In that case you might go for a different saddle. McKinney (from the Collector role), for example, gives a much higher reduction in core drains (34% for both versus 18% and 20%). Or just pick one that looks good.

The first one definitely has better stats with the right stirrups. Personally, I think the Nacogdoches is the ugliest saddle there is and wish I didn't buy it.
