With the "Leggings of Karak" and 10 points in Grit I can light or heavy attack three in a row times before running out of stamina (the second heavy attack leaves me with 1 stamina left). Abyssal Armor + Abyssal Maul "early", Bladesmithed Blackheart Hammer "Late". With Blackheart, you do something like 231 damage per light attack with around 59% armor pen.
