Nov 3, 2023 · Trip.com is a Chinese company that works in the travel industry. It’s not just “a” travel agency, though, as it’s one of the biggest in the world. This isn’t shocking, considering it has more than 400 million users and offices in over 200 different countries. Founded in 1999, its headquarters are located in Singapore. We booked flights via Mytrip with China Airways to Australia, costing 2000 GBP. I wanted to try and change our outgoing flight to 2 days earlier, but leaving the homebound flight the same. They tried charging me 4174.40 GBP for this simple change. MORE THAN DOUBLE what the original flight cost. Mytip.com lacks integrity. This is the worse agency ever and they are scammers. My flight was canceled by westjet and I was told by westjet that my money was refunded immediately to my trip.com but they failed to refund my money.
